The devices were green-lighted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on July 1 for the regional launch. However, Nokia Mobile does see some value in bringing all of its latest additions to its Originals series in India. Even in the feature phones segment, the company has never stepped past the ₹6000 range as it likes to skip the 4G Originals phones ( Nokia 8110 4G being an exception was launched for ₹5999), which usually fall in the category of premium feature phones. The only exception was the last year’s Nokia XR20. It does not consider India as that important of a market anymore when it comes to launching its high-end or even higher mid-range devices. Over the last few years, Nokia Mobile’s priority markets have changed. ![]() Nokia 2660 Flip, Nokia 5710 XpressAudio (XA), Nokia 8210 4G ![]()
